FMC® Food Managers Certification at NICA Marketplace 2026

FMC® Food Managers Certification is a nationally recognized ANAB-CFP food manager certification exam and online food manager training designed to ensure that food service professionals have the knowledge and skills to maintain safe food handling practices. The certification meets the requirements set by the FDA Food Code and is accepted in most states, making it an essential credential for managers in the Foodservice Industry.

Manny Campos, VP of Strategic Partnerships, EduClasses, will be conducting the FMC Food Managers Certification program. This will include a 3-4 hour Food Manager training and then the proctored ANAB-CFP FMC exam. All this for only $65 (save $100 off the normal $165 fee thanks to NICA Foundation)!

To obtain an FMC® Food Manager Certification, candidates must:

• Register for the FMC® Exam
• Prepare for the Exam
• Pass the Proctored Exam

Exam Format

The FMC® Food Managers Certification Exam consists of multiple-choice questions based on food safety regulations and best practices. Candidates must achieve a passing score to earn their certification.

Validity & Renewal

• The FMC® certification is typically valid for five years. 
• In Washington DC, the FMC® certification is valid for three years.
• Renewal requires passing the exam again before the expiration date.
