About Us
The largest event in South Carolina, held annually in October in Columbia, SC. The fair is a self-supporting 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was organized in 1869 and is dedicated to preserving and promoting SC's agricultural roots while supporting statewide education. Since 1997, the fair has awarded more than $5 million in scholarships.
